What do you think is the best part of the Knox County Scenic Drive, the
autumn foliage, festivities, old time demonstrations, historic sites,
entertainment or activities? Take your camera along when you visit the
Official Knox County Scenic Drive Stops: Galesburg Scarecrow Festival (first weekend of the drive), Knox County Fair Grounds, Knoxville, Maquon, Orange Chapel, Walnut Grove Farm, Woodland View Farm and Wolf Covered Bridge on October 6 & 7, 13 & 14.

Official Rules
1. Visit, enjoy and photograph as many of the following Official Knox
County Scenic Drive Stops as possible: Galesburg Scarecrow Festival, Knox County Fair Grounds, Knoxville, Maquon, Orange Chapel, Walnut Grove Farm, Woodland View Farm, and Wolf Covered Bridge. All photos must be taken at these official scenic drive stops during this year's Scenic Drive.
2. Send your best photographs (maximum size 5x7) to "Knox County Scenic
Drive Photo Contest," c/o Foley Photo Studios, 113 S. Cherry Street,
Galesburg, IL 61401. Include an entry form and label the back of each photo
you submit with your name, address, phone number and photo location.
3. No entry fee is required. A maximum of four photos can be submitted
by each entrant. Entries must be received by 5 p.m. on November 1, 2007. The Knox
County Scenic Drive Association and cosponsors are not responsible for
entries delayed, mutilated or lost in the mail.
4. The contest is not open to members or immediate family of the Scenic
Drive committees or to employees of the cosponsors. The contest is void
where prohibited.
5. The decision of the judge is final. Photos will be judged for
creativity, photographic quality and subject interest. Entrants grant
the right for the sponsors of the contest to use their photographs for
promotion, advertising or any other purpose in any medium. Photos will not be returned
6. A selection of the winning photographs will be published on the Knox County Scenic Drive Web Site and other promotional materials. The contest winners will also be announced in The Register-Mail.
7. PRIZES: All prizes will be cash. Grand Prize - $50; First place in each catagory- $30. Photo classification is subject to judge's approval.

County Scenic Drive Association are sponsoring this contest. |
