The Wood We have lived here for about 20 years now. When we first moved here the land was mostly pasture with some woods that connected to a much larger group of woods. It had a large barn and a 20x40' metal building. We had been living in town and wanted desperately to leave. This place came up for sale one day and I saw it on the way home from work. We bought it without even walking around it. We built the metal building into our house where we lived for 10 of our years here. Then we built our new house up on top of the hill, the old house is now my shop. The land has changed a lot since we've come too, we've planted Blue Spruce and Austrian Pine along with Concolor Fir, Scots Pine and the road is lined with American Arborvitae, Burning Bush, Ginnala Maple and plants of all sorts.
