The Dog House When we built the Dog House we thought the dogs would live in it, oh well it's kind of nice. It's 10x10' , the floor, walls and ceiling are insulated. The windows and door have screens. I put GFCI receptacles in and a 220 volt wall heater along with a ceiling fan. The white or light blue section of the roof is Styrofoam insulation to block the sun during the summer months from coming in the roof window. It's a 4x8' sheet of 1/2 inch plexiglass. In the wall opposite the door is the dogs door that leads to a small fenced in area. It all turned out well except the dogs decided they would be house dogs !
