We ordered an Operation Politically Homeless kit, reserved a space on the street, bought a tent, a folding table and ordered some literature form the national Libertarian Party. When the literature didn't arrive in time for the event, the Robin Miller Senatorial campaign in Peoria helped us out by supplying us with literature for both himself and for Harry Browne, the Liberitarian Presidential candidate.

The 1996 Knox County Scenic Drive was our group's first effort at Liberitarian outreach. The idea first came about when we were discussing an ad from the Advocates for Self Government. The Advocates have designed the Operation Politically Homeless kit for just such events. The kit contains the World's Smallest Political Quiz and several ready made signs and posters to advertise the event.
