Free Library Card: All residents of York Township are eligible for
a free library card. To register, you must present one form of
identification showing your current address.
LIBRARY SPONSORED BOOK
CLUBS
Multiple copies of the books
are available at the library. Make new friends, enjoy good books, and the
facilities of the public library. All are welcome.

Thursday Book
Club: This book club features a book
discussion, lunch and social time at
11:30 am on the second Thursday of the month. |
Mystery &
Suspense Book Club:
This book club meets on the
fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm. at the library. Following a
potluck supper a book discussion is held.
Christian Book Club: The
Christian Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 9:00 at the
library. Following breakfast book discussion is held on the featured book
of the month.
Card
Club: If you enjoy playing Euchre, or 500 you'll really enjoy
playing it at the library. It's a great way to spend an afternoon with
friends. This group meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 11:30.
Lunch is provided. New players are always welcome.
LIBRARY SERVICES Borrowing: Most books,
magazines and audio cassettes may be borrowed for 14 days. Fines; 5 cents per item per day. Videos
& DVD's- 7 days. Fines;
10cents per item per day.
Interlibrary Loan: Our
library will try to obtain for you from other libraries any materials that we do
not have available in house.
Non-Print Materials: The
library has a variety of non-print materials available for check out:
VHS videos, DVD's and books on tape & CD. Member of the Carroll County Audio book
Consortium.
Drop Box: The library has a
book drop that can be used anytime of the day or night to return books.
Internet Access: The library
has 6 computer terminals dedicated to the public for internet access.
Magazines: The library has
over 20 titles covering a variety of subjects.
Photocopying: The library has
a photocopier available for your use. The cost per copy is 15cents .
Microfilm: Located in the Genealogy
Room, our collection consists of the Carroll County Review.
Meeting Room:
The meeting room may be scheduled for use by local non-profit organizations.
